Job Summary:
- A Pain Management Advanced Practitioner Registered Nurse (APRN) provides care for patients dealing with chronic pain due to health issues or injuries.
- Responsibilities include examining patients, reviewing their medical history, and consulting with other healthcare providers to determine the best therapy or treatment plan.
- This role also involves prescribing medication and adjusting dosages as needed.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
- At least one year of experience in Interventional Pain Management.
- Must have completed 2,000 hours of clinical experience.
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the relevant specialty.
- Current CNOR/CRNFA certification (if applicable).
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Proficient in computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
