Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the department supervisor to manage work order responsibilities and production schedules.
- Complete assigned tasks within deadlines while meeting production expectations.
- Serve as the interface between the manufacturing team and support groups to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop, update, and maintain CNC programming with clear and concise instructions for machine tool operators.
- Mentor and train less experienced machinists to enhance team capability.
- Suggest and implement tooling and planning changes to boost production efficiency.
- Develop and maintain detailed tooling sheets and operational documentation.
- Set up and operate CNC machines for efficient production.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.
- Proficiency with Mastercam software is a must.
- Expertise in using precision measuring instruments.
- Capability to analyze engineering design documentation to determine optimal machining methods.
- Knowledge of and ability to perform on-line NC programming.
- Significant experience in programming from baseline through 5-axis equipment, including live axis lathe programming.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing programming and tooling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid computer skills.
